To meet mobile users’ expectations, Konica Minolta has expanded its wireless capabilities with three new Wireless Printing Solutions – AirPrint, Mopria Print Service and Google Cloud Print – to its hardware and software offering. Konica Minolta has customers covered with its expanded wireless capabilities, enabling them to operate with improved efficiency.
The expansion of mobility features is designed to match different working styles and offer new wireless printing solutions to fulfil the needs of different industries.
“By running this technology from a Konica Minolta bizhub multifunction device, customers will be able to print from all types of devices without having a printer driver,” comments Chris Goult, Konica Minolta’s Group Product Marketing Manager. “Customers will enjoy greater convenience with our new mobility solutions and improved efficiency in the way they do business.”
“Our point of difference is our in-depth understanding of customers’ individual workflow needs. This expertise means we know which wireless printing technologies will allow businesses to enjoy the freedom of mobile workflow and greater efficiency,”adds Marc Brandon, Konica Minolta’s Product Manager.

The Mopria Print Service is an application which lets consumers print directly from devices running Android 4.4 or later. Documents such as photographs, web pages and PDF files can be printed easily via wireless LAN to Mopria-certified output devices.
Konica Minolta bizhub devices are also AirPrint certified so that customers can print high-quality images and documents directly from applications without the need to install separate drivers. AirPrint is an Apple technology which is built into iOS devices such as Apple’s iPad and iPhone as well as OS X devices such as the iMac and Macbook Pro.
