Jason Brookes – Sales –
Jason has joined our Sales division in January 2015 as the southern Gold Coast region Commercial Sales representative. He has been involved with the print industry for the last 17 years. He grew up on the Gold Coast and has just built a new house at Casuarina Beach. Jason loves cooking, he lives for surfing and doesn’t mind the odd game of golf, followed by a couple of cold ales.
Jason will answer some quirky questions so we can get a better insight to one of our Sales Experts:
Q. Tell me a little about your personal life – are you married, children? Etc
A. I am happily married to my wonderful wife Renae for 9 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters Ava 6 and Macy 3.
Q. How did you become a Salesperson?
A. I started out my career working in a bindery within a large print company. During the next several years, I was lucky enough to experience all facets of a press room including plate making and eventually Graphic Design. I got my first start in sales working for a Snap Printing Franchise as a customer service representative and have been involved in similar roles ever since.
Q. How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
A. Loyal, Reliable, Honest.
Q. What is something about you that nobody here at Docsol knows?
A. When I was 8, I starred in an Avis Car Rental media campaign encompassing billboards, newspaper and magazines across Australia and Asia.
Q. What is the best thing since sliced bread?
A. My Kamado Joe (ceramic bbq grill).
Q. What is the best trip you have taken – where and why?
A. 10 years ago, I dropped everything and spent a couple of years working in London, during this time I spent travelling in and out of Europe, it was an absolute blast. Too many good memories/experiences to list.
Q. If you won 1 million dollars, how would you spend it?
A. Clear the mortgage and spend a couple of years travelling with the family.
Q. Name five famous people (dead or alive) that you would invite to your dinner party.
A. Kelly Slater, Richard Branson, Albert Einstein, Van Gough and Eddie Murphy.
Q. Are you a dog or cat person?
A. Definitely a dog person.
Q. If money and time was not an obstacle, what would you do with your life?
A. I would probably become a humanitarian and help the less fortunate, experience things in life we take for granted.
