Konica Minolta Wins 2009 BLI “Outstanding Achievement” Award for Energy Efficiency. Konica Minolta Business Solutions Pty Ltd (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announced that Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI) has awarded Konica Minolta the BLI Spring 2009 “Outstanding Achievement” award for outstanding energy efficiency in the following categories:
- Konica Minolta bizhub 362
- 31- to 40-ppm A3/Ledger Monochrome MFP
- Konica Minolta bizhub C552 with Emperon Controller
- 41- to 50-ppm A3/Ledger Color MFP
Konica Minolta won “Outstanding Achievement” awards for the outstanding energy efficiency of two of its products. The bizhub C552 with Emperon controller, a winner in the 41- to 50-ppm Color MFP category, also offers faster than average tested recovery times from idle, energy-save and sleep modes, allowing users to save energy without losing productivity. In the 31- to 40-ppm Monochrome MFP category, the Konica Minolta bizhub 362 not only has lower than average projected annual energy consumption and cost, but also lower than average energy consumption in every single running and non-running mode. In addition, the bizhub 362 provides such “green” features as job review, proof mode and N-up.
“Earning recognition for the environmental performance of our award-winning colour and monochrome bizhub MFDs is testament of our ongoing commitment to being a leader in green technology efforts,” said David Procter, National Marketing Manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia. “Being acknowledged for this excellence represents our continued commitment to our customers and showcases more reasons why people can count on Konica Minolta not only for the most innovative technology, but also for setting environmental standards in the industry.”
